‘PENNY FARTHING TEA ROOM AND BAKERY’

We are pinching ourselves with excitement to announce that our lovely tea room opened on September 6th, 2024 at 11 Watertown Road in Morris, CT - at the corners of Route 63 and 109.

Our opening hours will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 am until 4 pm. On Friday nights we are offering a dinner option to go - a two course meal for only $20 and we will open until 5 pm for pick-up only. Dinner and dessert selections change on a weekly basis.

Our Mother’s Day Tea Menu will start on May 2nd and run for 3 weekends. Please call for pricing and information.

We recommend reservations but they are not required, please call 860 361 6109. If you would like to rent the tea room out for a special event, please let us know. .

Our menu comprises a selection of breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea menus. We also offer a soup, Toastie and a quiche of the day as well as a wide selection of sandwiches and baked goods, Specialty teas and coffee from Sacred Grounds in Sherman are always available.

You can also find our scones and baked goods at the following locations Toast & Co in Litchfield, Warren General Store in Warren, The Smithy at 9 Main in New Preston, Marty’s Cafe in Washington Depot, Brinx in Torrington, Percy Thomson Meadows Farm Stand in Bethlehem, Spoonful of Britain in Simsbury, 45 on Main in Kent and Petroroia Deli in Litchfield.

We look forward to seeing you at the tea room. It truly is a lifelong dream of ours that has come to be a reality and we cannot thank enough Dave Robert for all the time and hard work he has put into this project, his family who have given him up for many months, our own families for understanding when we were not home and our neighbor Anita Cilfone at Bella Luna gifts for her support.
